Rodents

Rats and mice can be a year-round problem in our mild coastal climate.
Coastal Pest Management has the solutions.

Our Professional Rodent Control Service Includes:

A full inspection of the premises to determine:

  • What type of rodent is present.
  • What is attracting the rodents
  • Where are the entry points and travel routes.
  • Estimate of rodent population.

Tamper-resistant Bait Stations are an integral part of baiting. They keep bait away from children, livestock, pets and other animals, as well as protect bait from dust, dirt, moisture and other contaminants so bait stays fresh longer. We use them also to monitor rodent activity to determine areas of heavy and mild infestation.

Consultation with customer:

  • to outline corrective measures that should be taken to prevent future infestations.
  • to approve the appropriate rodent elimination procedure.

Control Procedure
One or more methods may be used depending on results of inspection.

Procedure 1
Place suitable bait in appropriate locations that will not put other animals or humans at risk. Use bait stations where required.
Procedure 2
Place traps strategically to intercept rodents on travel routes.
Procedure 3
Place glue boards in sensitive areas where bait stations or traps are not appropriate.
